In this hands-on camp, children will learn to grow, harvest, and prepare food from the garden to the table. Through organic gardening, simple cooking, and nature-inspired crafts and songs they'll connect with the rhythms of nature while building practical skills. Campers will create delicious recipes, explore the way food grows and develop a deeper connection to the Earth and to their food. This camp will be the most fulfilling as a two week camp (It takes time for plants to grow!) but can also be taken as a one week offering.

Note this is only week 2 of a suggested 2 week camp. While children are welcome to join for just one week, two weeks are needed to see the full benefit of watching plants grow and deeper understanding of the concepts.

Open to campers ages 7-12.

Camps will run 8:00-12:00. Campers are to arrive to The Waldorf School of DuPage between 7:45-8:00 am and be picked up between 12:00-12:15 PM
